Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa today nominated City Ethics Commission Vice President Robert Saltzman to the Los Angeles Police Commission. Saltzman, who also serves as Associate Dean of the University of Southern California law school, will replace outgoing Commissioner Shelley Freeman.
